SHSID Hongkou Campus is Fully Prepared for the New School Year

In accordance with the cooperation agreement reached between Hongkou District and SHSID, Hongkou Campus officially opened on September 1st, 2023. To fully prepare for the new school year, leaders from multiple parties are providing strong support and working collaboratively to ensure a smooth start for the new school year.

On the morning of August 31st, Mr. Lv Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Hongkou District Committee and District Mayor, visited Hongkou Campus for an inspection. Mr. Lv Ming was accompanied by Mr. Sun Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Hongkou District Education Work Party Committee and Director of the District Education Bureau; Ms. Zhang Zehong, Secretary General of SHS; Mr. Liu Lian, Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School; Ms. Zhu Dan, Director of SHSID Hongkou Campus; and Chen Xi, Deputy Director of the General Affairs Office of SHS. Mr. Lv Ming and his delegation toured the campus and fully affirmed the thorough and orderly preparations for the new school year.

To ensure that the campus opens on time, Hongkou District and Shanghai High School have been working together to comprehensively prepare for the new campus. On the afternoon of August 25th, Mr. Wang Lei from the Hongkou District Education Work Party Committee, Mr. Sun Lei, Director of the Education Bureau, and Ms. Luan Xuelian, Deputy Director of the Municipal Education Commission's International Exchange Office, inspected the readiness of Hongkou Campus buildings. Mr. Feng Zhigang, Principal of SHS, Mr. Liu Lian, Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School, Ms. Zhu Dan, Director of SHSID Hongkou Campus, and Chen Xi, the Deputy Director of the General Affairs Office of SHS, accompanied them throughout the inspection. The renovation of the beautiful campus is a refreshing sight to see.

The Hongkou District Public Security and Traffic Police departments have conducted multiple on-site inspections of the campus and surrounding safety facilities. They have guided Hongkou Campus in developing the plan for student pick-up and drop-off to ensure traffic safety around the campus. On the afternoon of August 29th, Mr. Liu Guoqing, Deputy District Mayor, Party Secretary and Director of the District Public Security Bureau, and Deputy Secretary of the District Political and Legal Committee, visited Hongkou Campus for inspection and work guidance, ensuring a safe and smooth start to the new semester in Hongkou campus.
