Pudong Campus: Curtain Call — The Rise of the Drama Club and the Pudong Stage Spectacle

The Talent Show of Pudong campus scheduled for June 1st was eagerly anticipated by every member of our drama club. This event was the culmination of four months of intense preparation and hard work. It all began at the conclusion of the previous semester.

During that time, the club members penned two captivating stories — "Chocolate Factory" and "The Red Fox." These narratives demonstrated the remarkable imagination and creativity of our students.

However, for our young drama enthusiasts, simply writing stories was not enough. Their objective was to deliver a full-fledged drama performance. In pursuit of this goal, the students fine-tuned their dialogues, arranged for costumes, and crafted props themselves. They ensured every minute detail was rehearsed multiple times to guarantee the success of their performance.

When the Talent Show arrived on June 1st, the moment they had all been preparing for finally came. Our club members gave their best performances, and thoroughly enjoyed the process.

Their performance received a resounding applause from all the Pudong students and teachers, which resonated for quite some time. However, for our drama club members, this triumphant show was merely the beginning of their journey into the world of drama. They are confident that the upcoming school year will bring even more extraordinary stories to life!
