Grade 11 Assembly: Introduction to CompCo

On April 27, the Grade-11 students gathered in the Xianmian Annex for the weekly assembly. During the assembly, Alan Yi from 11(6) and his friends presented CompCo, a platform they designed to create an interschool community.

The speakers began their presentation by explaining the purpose of the platform. Alan described difficulties in sharing information, such as finding people with similar interests or promoting clubs and competitions efficiently. CompCo was introduced as a personalized activity and community finder, where students can find, rate, and create activities, as well as communicate with students from other international schools in Shanghai.

After the general introduction, Alan displayed the website (www.compco.cc) to the students, and students were instantly impressed by its professional look. Alan demonstrated how to use the website, including searching for activities and chatting in the forum. The speakers concluded their presentation by encouraging students to join the CompCo website and team.

By the end of the assembly, some students had already started creating their accounts on CompCo and expected to have a new way of communication within the student community.
