Social Science Department: A Visit to the Fashion House

On the morning of April 21, 2023, Shanghai High School International Division organized students who were interested in fashion industry management, marketing, and design to visit Maison Margiela’s (MM), Shanghai Jicang Wenhua Plaza store. During the two-hour store visit, MM retail sales trainer Oscar explained the brand and the details of product design to the students. Then each student chose a product they liked in the store and communicated with Oscar about their understanding of the design. In the Q&A session, the students asked questions about the development of fashion industry and career development. The experience of this trip helped students take another step forward in their career planning.
