Puxi G3: Clay Paintings of Ching Ming
Qingtuan is a special kind of food which is exclusive to spring. In the Chinese class on April 4th, the third grade students in Puxi Campus incorporated the taste of spring into the Ching Ming clay painting as the Ching Ming Festival approached.
The shapes of these fruit-green clays have been constantly changed in the children's hands, and after a while, little round “balls” were made one by one. They were as round and delicate as jasper, and the green color of the surface was full of vitality. It seems that people can already feel the glutinous taste on the tip of the tongue, and when they bite, they can imagine all kinds of sweet and salty tastes.
The children also added other spring elements into the clay paintings, such as weeping willows by the river, rippling blue waves, oblique flying swallows, colorful flowers, etc. All the scenes were reflected in one another, forming a splendid spring.
The beautiful April was full of spring green. These green Qingtuan are not only wrapped in spring scenes, but also full of children's endless yearning and expectation for the wonderful season.
