G7 Assembly: Award Ceremony

It was a beautiful day as classes 7(7) to 7(12) were gathered in the theater in Zhongxing Building for assembly. The topic of the assembly caught everyone’s attention. From the intense looks on the fellow teachers’ and students’ faces, it was clear that this was a great assembly.

As each class proceeded to sit down according to seat, director of Grade 7, Ms. Yan Zeng, first started with the announcement of the class winners for the Basketball Shooting Competition that had recently happened. The top three classes were class 7(6), class 7(8), and class 7(1). The ceremony moved-on to the winners of the Rubik’s Cube Competition instead. There were many familiar faces, who stepped proudly onto the stage to claim their reward. Afterwards, the students with the most points from each class in Pi Day event were also rewarded for their hard work and excellent participation in the Pi activities. Last but not least, the Individual Basketball Shooting Prizes were also presented, along with the glorious smiles of all students.

With each rewarding moment, came a round of applause and exquisite gifts to congratulate all the students on stage. The assembly’s ending was a wonderful start to a new day in the Grade 7 community.
