Grades 9-10: Knowledge Knockout

On Wednesday, March 15, Grade 10 ASB hosted an amazing and entertaining event called “Knowledge Knockout”. This took place during the last two periods of the day. “Knowledge Knockout” is a trivia game with questions ranging from physics all the way to pop culture. The whole activity was split into four rounds: three elimination rounds, and one final round with all the winners from the elimination rounds. The trivia questions came in different forms including video and fill-in-the-blank.

Each elimination round was very eventful; students from each team had to rely not only on their fast reflexes but also on their reaction times. The entire sophomore grade sat on the edges of their seats, eagerly participating alongside the contestants.

The final elimination round was a particularly close match, with teams fighting for each point. With the match on the line, ASB introduced a new question format: Family Feud. A series of answers were provided to the students not participating and they had to select their most purchased snack from Lawson. This was an opportunity for all students to participate in this year’s Knowledge Knockout. Overall, the experience was very entertaining and tested all areas of students’ knowledge.
