Pudong Grade 3: Learn the Body Knowledge and Live a Healthy Life

On Wednesday, March 1st, the third-grade students of Pudong campus were invited to the special lecture "Health Science Class" prepared by Ms. Lin from Roche Company.

Firstly, Ms. Lin began the lecture with some basic questions about our body structure and different organs. The third-grade students answered positively and related to the symptoms of illness that occurred in their real lives. Then, Ms. Lin explained how our bodies engage in a "tug-of-war" with viruses to help the students understand how a body's immune system fights against viruses and bacteria. Finally, students also learned how to "refuel" and "pump up" their bodies against external viruses.

Through this health lecture, students had a more comprehensive understanding of their own bodies, learned how to stay healthy and how to identify symptoms if they are unwell.
