Foreign Teachers’ Orientation for the Second Semester

After a break for the winter holidays, we welcomed the new semester! Before the new semester started, all the foreign teachers attended a two-day spring semester orientation organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai High School International Division on February 12 and 13.

The orientation included two psychology lectures, workshops for each grade, and workshops for each department. The two lectures were on “Spotting learning difficulties in the classroom”, and “Managing tricky behaviors in the classroom”, respectively. After the group training sessions, teachers exchanged and discussed in small groups according to subject categories. Through the orientation, the teachers adjusted their mindset, carefully prepared for the start of the schoolyear, and confidently welcomed the return of their students!
