Pudong Campus: The Musical Is Ready to Go!

Musical is one of the most in words nowadays. To the members of our musical club at SHSID Pudong campus, it means more than just being an audience member. Our club members spent a whole semester working on their own musical scripts and now they were ready to go!

It is our musical club time every Tuesday afternoon. Under the instructions of Mr. Teddy, our club teacher, the members have learned a lot of things about musical. They started from the basic knowledge of musical, from the story structures, character lines to the character personalities, music, and costumes. They have learned so much that all of them are now little experts of musicals.

Musical composition requires skills of all aspects. After a whole semester’s studies and hard work, our members finished two scripts belonging to themselves -- “Chocolate Factory” and “the Red Fox”. These scripts showed full personalities of our students, though they’re not very mature.

Next semester, our musical club will keep working on these two scripts and try to bring all the students a wonderful show before the end of the semester. Let’s look forward to that!
