Puxi Grade 3: Global Geography Fair
Without leaving home, we still can travel around the world! On Wednesday afternoon, the third-grade students embarked on a trip around eight countries prepared by their teachers. They had the opportunity to participate in various events around the world without having to pack!
In class 3(1), the students designed a unique Cuban classic car of their own. Moving to Class 3(2), they traveled through the ancient city of Istanbul, Turkey, and stopped to make Arabic-style paintings. Class 3(3), which had a South African style, was also very popular. There, our students tasted lollipops that are unique to South Africa. In class 3(4), students learned about Egyptian hieroglyphs and made their own secret documents. They went to Italy in class 3 (5) later without stopping, where they were able to make a delicious Italian pizza by playing a small game. The Mexican horn sounded in Class 3(6), and the students wore sombreros and felt the strong ethnic customs. Then, in class 3(7), kids went deep into New Zealand's indigenous culture and watched a Maori dance full of passion. The final stop for the students was Columbia in Class 3(8), where they twisted their limbs and danced with energy.
The wonderful journey came to an end, and the third graders returned to their classrooms reluctantly, bringing with them souvenirs and fond memories of visiting all the different countries.
