Puxi G4-5: Sports Week

The autumn wind of October blows and the vast field turns golden. The Expecting Sports Week Begins. In addition to the wonderful Sports Meet, colorful sports activities of this week also made students excited every day.

On Tuesday, the fourth grade held a "Sports Talk Show", where students in each class discussed and shared their favorite sports within groups. The fifth grade had an interesting “Sports Trivia Quiz”. Grade 5 ASB members prepared rich and interesting sports-related questions for the students, which were divided into three levels, easy, medium and expert, according to the difficulty of the questions. The students were eager to try, taking their stamp cards and choosing different levels of questions to answer to get points.

On Wednesday, the fourth grade held the activity of "Sports Station". The children took turns to experience the four activities of "Ships and Sailors", "Jump across the River", as well as "Toss and Catch" and "Balance".

During PE class on Thursday, the fourth grade held Team Building Activities. Students realized the importance of teamwork through the four games of "Egg Toss Relay", "Three-Legged Race", "Ball Passing" and "Human Knot". The fifth grade held a fierce Tug of War competition. After the winner of every two classes was determined, the winner of the other two classes would be contested until the final winner was determined. Each team member put on gloves, stood in a good position, and made effort to win honor for their class. Finally, Class 5-2 became the champion of the Tug of War. At the end of the Tug of War competition, the fifth graders had a special and interesting competition with the teachers. The students cheered for themselves and finally defeated the teachers to win!

In this week’s Personal Growth class, the theme of the fifth grade was "Sports Changed Me". Each student shared a story about sports. From the sharing, students felt the courage, confidence and happiness that sports brought to them, and also expressed their love for sports.

The Sports Week came to a successful end. We hope that in the future, sports will continue to make students feel the spirit of mutual help and solidarity, and children will continue to strengthen their physical fitness and enjoy themselves in a variety of sports activities.
