Puxi Campus Grade 4: Online Parents’ Meeting

September 30, 2022

In the evening of September 27, fourth grade in Puxi campus held the first online parents’ meeting of this semester. The topic of this meeting was “Learning to be Independent”.

During the meeting, the respective leaders of five subjects, Chinese, Mathematics, English, Geography, and Science, introduced the requirements and main tasks of this academic year. Teachers also analyzed the differences between third and fourth grade and further presented the possible challenges in academic learning for students. We hope this session could assist students to better transit to the fourth grade.

After that, Ms. Chris, director of G4-5, had a thorough discussion with parents on the question “What qualities do we want our children to obtain in the long run?” Ms. Chris believes the ultimate goal of education is not gaining high scores but cultivating lifelong learning abilities and abilities to solve complex problems in the future. Ms. Chris further provided several effective and practical suggestions based on this idea.

This parents’ meeting promoted the cooperation between teachers and parents, forming a strong driving force for our students’ development!
