Puxi Grade 8: ASB is back!

Every September, as students of SHSID gradually return back to the campus, their laughter and excitement would once again, cram the school that has been empty for the past two months. But behind the calmness, fierce competition goes on. Electing for the new ASB members becomes a popular target to compete for. The ASB members would act as the teacher and students’ helper which will organize the following activities and provide services for students. On September the 15th, the ASB election of eighth grade was held at the Zhentao Building B1. Let us all wait to see who would get to be the new members of the ASB community!

Every candidate made eye-catching “personal introduction” poster to demonstrate their interests and specialties. These posters of different styles were posted at the entrance of the fourth floor of Zhentao Building, often attracting everyone to stop and observe them during recess.

Candidates all had outstanding performances which has brought a huge impact not only on the audiences but on other candidates also. On stage, they told about their brilliant memories as being an ASB member before, or their strength and advantages that would help them to be a qualified member, and also their expectations and aspirations for the future. They promised to devote their efforts and time to the ASB in the future. Their lovely speeches made this a lively and interesting ASB race.

Let’s look forward to the next class of students to join our big family of ASB, and hope they become better and better.
