G8: Service-Learning Introduction
Service-Learning Project is a platform for every G8 student to gain and to give. It encourages students to assist others and reflect upon their work. On September 8th, during the YD period, students of the eighth grade attended the Service-Learning Project and Club Introduction event.
There are different types of service-learning projects in the eighth grade. Tutoring Group, Story Buddy, Smile Charity and other gold label groups are expected to be popular this academic year. Students will also create new projects and look forward to their new achievements!
Our school encourages students to work in teams and develop a strong team spirit. The collaboration between different groups gives students more opportunities to learn and reflect. For example, after major events, the News Group students receive the photos taken by students from the Photography Group. Finally, the members of the News Group write articles and post on the SHSID official account. In United Efforts, students can help the community and enlighten their minds.
We hope today’s introduction event will sow the seeds of diligence and devotion. The new year sets sail. We hope that students will adhere to their love and try to better themselves.
