Grades 11: Assembly - Bio Health Club

As the new semester on campus started, SHSID students began to advertise official clubs and initiate new clubs. In the juniors’ assembly on September 8th, leaders of the Bio Health Club introduced their club and corresponding activities for this year in Xianmian Building. This year, President Hazel, Vice President Michelle, the head of the academic department Conrad, and the head of service events Jessica were in charge of presenting for the Bio Health Club at the assembly.

The senior president Hazel started the introduction by presenting Bio Health Club’s aim and advantages by mentioning the variety of experiences that Bio Health Club presents to its members. Bio Health Club offers prestigious opportunities in the health industry, such as academic aptitude and volunteering experiences for holistic growth and development for participants. Continuing the general introduction of the club, other leaders expanded on specific events related to each health field and area including beneficial competitive events (BCE) and career-oriented competitive events (CCE). They further explored different subdivisions of Bio Health Club and outside partnerships with other institutions. As a final remark, the leaders of Bio Health Club noted that members could get various aspects of help from the club and launch service events at school if necessary; thus, they are looking for juniors to have valuable experiences with Bio Health Club.

Along with this club introduction during the assembly, other SHSID official clubs are also about to start activities engaging SHSID high school students to experience and share their common interests.
