Pudong Campus Grades 2&4: Have Fun With Reading Buddies!

In SHSID, cultivating students’ reading habits and interests have always been one of our goals. On Friday, December 17, second-grade students engaged in a Christmas-themed reading buddy activity with their fourth-grade reading buddies. After reviewing the famous Christmas poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” the partners were able to choose their favorite word from the poem and turn it into their original acrostic poem. Students enjoyed a chance to demonstrate their creativity along with their holiday spirit!

“Reading Buddies” is not only an activity about reading but also a kind of companionship and communication. We hope that students can gradually develop the good habit of reading in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
