Grade 10: Why Can’t We Drink Water from Our Eyes?

In the early morning of Dec. 8th, students had, once again, entered the Lecture Hall to participate in the weekly lecture. With Alan and Brandon’s amazing presentation last week that got an explosive reaction from the crowd, the audience was feeling rather enthusiastic. Acknowledging this somewhat air of enthusiasm underlying among the audience, the assembly speaker, Edouard from 10(8), came upon the stage to discuss a very interesting topic: Why can’t we drink (water) from the interspace of our eyes? Utilizing the scientific method in an entertaining way, Edouard demonstrated the reason step by step. He created an experiment in which he attempted to drink with his eyes, and, obviously, failed. After that, he explained to the audience the science behind this failure. Overall, this was a pretty interesting speech that grabbed the audience’s attention with an interesting topic and a great delivery!
