Pudong Campus Grade 3: Geo Fair Warm-up-—Welcome to Japan

To warm up for the upcoming Geo Fair, the third grade teachers at Pudong campus invited a special guest to introduce Japanese culture for all third graders.

The lecturer started from showing the pictures of typical Japanese food and animations to arouse students’ interests. Then she taught basic characters in Japanese and compared with Chinese characters. While finding the similarities and differences, the students realized that how interesting that the different cultures influence each other in history. All the students participated well and earned the lovely gifts.

A forty-minute class is short, but the forty minutes could encourage the students to explore various cultures.
