Pudong Campus Grade 3: Book Tasting

To encourage students to be stronger readers, explore more genres, and celebrate the month of reading, the third-grade teachers at the Pudong campus held a “Book Tasting” activity. They invited all third-grade students to the book café on November 16.

Students were encouraged to “try a bite” of the books during the Book Tasting to see if they liked them. This included looking at the book’s cover, reading a few pages, and flipping through to see any pictures or graphics.

After “tasting” several different genres, the Book Tasting activity concluded with Reflection Napkins. The third-grade students felt the joy of reading through this meaningful and fun activity.
