Grade 9 Assembly: How to Study Math

On the morning of November 12th, Grade-9 students at SHSID gathered in the Zhentao lecture hall for the weekly assembly, where a student from 9(3) shared her insights on how to learn math effectively.

The student representative presented tips for daily math studies, exam preparation, and competition training. For regular math studies, she suggested that students pay attention in class, especially to challenging questions that the teacher discusses, and spend some time each day on extra math problems. When reviewing for tests, it would be useful to make a general outline and identify weak areas of knowledge. Students can redo questions that they made mistakes on and utilize other available resources to help them study. And to prepare for contests, students can get familiar with the style and pace by doing past papers and attending clubs if necessary.

Overall, the presentation provided students with more confidence in their math learning and tips that may aid their future studies.
