Pudong Campus: Fire Drill

At 2:05 p.m. on October 29th, an ear-piercing alarm bell rang all of a sudden. The unpleasant smell was overspread the air of the teaching building. Students and teachers who were having their last period of the day had no time to figure out what’s happening. The awareness of fire safety education helped them to use correct reaction to face the upcoming danger.

Under the command of the homeroom teachers, students lined up quietly, covering mouth and nose, walked safely out of the building, and finally assembled on the playground just as they had practiced many times. Homeroom teachers of each class counted the number of students and reported to the director in time. This unexpected fire drill has been an alarm to all the teachers and students that real fire can happen in anytime and anywhere. We have to be on the alert for getting ready at all times.
