Teacher Advisor Office Officially Launched the House Program

To promote more effective and personalized counseling for G9-10 students, the TA office started the House Program this school year. Similar to the mentor system of some well-known universities, students can choose to enter the House of any of the ten teachers with their specialties. The specified TA in the House Program hosts a diverse assortment of intellectual activities including lunch-time talks, lectures and seminars to provide opportunities for students with common interest to meet, exchange ideas, or learn particular skills.

At the beginning of the semester, each teacher held an introduction meeting in their Houses to let the students understand the appointment system, the preparations they need before the counseling, the timely feedback that needs to be completed after the couseling, and so on. We hope that, with joint efforts, students can open a new chapter in high-school life and find their own direction in curriculum development, extracurricular activities, time management, and mental health.
