Grades 9-10: Academy Course Introduction

On Thursday, September 23, Grade-10 students had their new academy course selection introduction.

The introduced courses were Chinese Sign Language, Creating Mind Maps, Physics Bowl, British Physics Olympiad, Biology Olympiad, Magic, DIY Crochet, and Stock Investment by experienced teachers of the particular fields. Among the courses introduced, the presentation of Chinese Sign Language and Magic induced the most participation from students. For the 10th graders, only half of the students (classes 7-12) take the academy course, and the other half of the students (classes 1-6) take the newly introduced course of Reading - Thinking, Empathy, and Writing (R-TEW).

Although not all the students took the academy course this semester, the students still listened to the introductions attentively for both the current and future semesters. As always, it is an exciting semester of academy courses where students pursue and investigate their own interests.
