Grade 7: Youth Development Class—Anti Bullying
One of the biggest concerns of parents and schools is the safety of children. Parents will especially worry about whether children will be bullied in school and whether they can get along well with their classmates. At the seventh-grade youth development class on Thursday, September 23rd, students in all classes had a new understanding of bullying.
In this youth development class, the teachers were fully prepared and carefully explained the definition, causes, and various solutions of bullying to the students. It also taught the students many bullying situations and answered the students’ questions about bullying.
One of the most unique definitions of bullying given to the students was network bullying. The teacher told that in adolescence, students are the most impulsive and are prone to make inappropriate comments on the Internet. Although it is only a small comment, its consequences should not be underestimated. Because of one’s impulsivity, it may cause others to doubt themselves and become unhappy, or it may cause others to be depressed and other adverse actions without knowing their purpose of living. Speaking of this, the teachers kept telling the students not to be impulsive when commenting online, doing things with others, and facing problems. In case of disliked remarks, point them out in time and show your attitude.
No matter what you encounter, you must face it calmly. You can ask the teacher for help when you encounter any difficulties. When you are depressed, you can also ask your classmates for comfort. Whenever you do anything, you must firmly believe that teachers and parents will accompany and support you.
