SHSID High School Division Mid-Autumn Party Held

As the Mid-Autumn Day drew near, the SHSID High School Division held the Mid-Autumn Party at the Sodexo cafeteria. Some of the Chinese teachers and foreign teachers joined the celebration after school on Sep. 17th.

The pastry chef from the company Qiao Jiashan showed the teachers how to make fresh pork mooncakes with the help of Mr. Adam Nikolich. After the instruction, the teachers couldn’t wait to make their own mooncakes. They tried to make the cooked snow-skin mooncakes while knowing each other better. All of the Chinese and foreign teachers enjoyed the party and celebrated the traditional festival together.

SHSID values the Chinese culture greatly, and we hope that both the Chinese and foreign teachers can benefit from this value and that the foreign teachers can get a deeper understanding of Chinese traditional culture through events like this Mid-Autumn Party.
