Grade 12 Students Participated in the Sharing Activity of "Diverse Life, Colorful World"

The 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP15) of the United Nations will be held in Kunming, Yunnan province, China, in October 2021. The theme of the conference is "Ecological Civilization: Building a Shared Future for All Life on Earth". This is the first time that the theme of the conference is related to "ecological civilization", demonstrating the global significance of President Xi Jinping's thinking on ecological civilization.

To facilitate the implementation of the Convention and to promote the education of biodiversity protection for children, Publicity and Education Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the China Children's Center held the sharing activity of "Diverse Life, Colorful World" teenager biodiversity protection cases.

Three students from Grade 12 of SHSID participated in the sharing session and presented their research topic on “Socialized Logistics -- Future Research of the Logistics Industry”. The study investigated how to make social logistics provide a variety of viable socialized services, along with a proposal to reduce the environmental pollution of logistics and achieve nearly zero emissions. From a unique perspective, it explains how the public can participate in the practice of biodiversity conservation.

Mankind, animals, plants, and other organisms live together in the "global village" and share a common destiny. By participating the sharing, the students are more aware that protecting biodiversity and protecting the earth is everyone's responsibility.
