High School Chinese Department: The Chinese Debate Competition Began

The ninth-grade Chinese Debate competition began on September 15, 2021.

The topic of the preliminary contest is whether the ending of fairy tales should or should not be the victory of justice over evil. At first, the pros expressed that fairy tales are the most important source of students' knowledge. The opposite side believes that the world is diverse, so the ending of fairy tales should also be diverse. In the questioning stage, the two sides seek loopholes in their speeches according to the arguments of the other side. While in the free-debate session, the two sides came one after another. Cheers and applause broke out one after another.

The whole debate was wonderful. The audience and judges were impressed by all members’ excellent language skills and excellent debate skills. Let's all look forward to more exciting competitions in the future.
