Middle and Primary School English Department: The Magical World of Grade 4 English

Students of Grade 4 dove into the world of Greek mythology! During their PBA, the students got to choose two myths they enjoyed to twist together into a new, creative myth with elements from their choices. They focused on the hero’s journey. Their stories were entertaining to read. They then flew into the magical world of Harry Potter! The students were exceptionally excited to read the book and get sorted into their houses. They were enthralled to get to travel to Hogsmeade to buy treats! The students loved getting the chance to be poets. They wrote diamanté poems and color poems. The poetry slam was also tons of fun with spectacular pieces about colors! The competition was fierce, but only a few students walked away with the coveted prizes.
