High School: Lunch with the Principal

At lunchtime on April 30 and May 17, 2021, the “Lunch with the Principal” activities were held in the classrooms of Xianmian (XM) and Zhentao (ZT) Buildings. SHSID High School Principal Ma Feng interacted with the student representatives of each grade of the high school to learn about the students' learning and living conditions as well as their opinions and suggestions.

Principal Ma first shared the feedback results of the school questionnaire completed by students. After that, the student representatives expressed their thoughts in terms of their daily life, time management, course selection, and extracurricular clubs. Students showed a wide variety of academic interests and preferences: some expressed strong love for Beyond courses, and some put forward higher expectation for the interdisciplinary and academic levels of project-based learning (PBL) courses.

Principal Ma encouraged students to smartly manage time, flexibly balance work and leisure, and choose the suitable courses and studying plans in order to achieve better sustainable development.
