Grade 7: Puberty Lesson

May 11, 2021

May 6th, seventh-grade students had their third puberty lesson with joyful laughter.

They first learned about bodily autonomy and how to do something with each other’s permission, which is called consent. The teacher lets students distinguish which relationships can be trusted and which can not. Then they learned how to solve some friendship and other emotional problems, including how to respect each other and how to decide and break toxic relationships. Then, through a humorous video, students learned how to avoid shameful things that happen and how to stay away from those individuals.

The adolescence course of this semester guided students to get to know themselves and the environment around them from multiple angles such as physiology, psychology, and interpersonal relationship. We believe that students can harvest and grow in this series of courses.
