Puxi Campus Grade 5: Spring on Campus

To mark the arrival of spring, the students in Grade 5 participated in a “Spring on Campus” activity this week.

The activity had four themes: “Breath of Spring,” “the most Memorable Story,” “Favorite Campus Corner,” and “A Letter to us in Grade 12.” Students formed groups, chose one of the topics according to their interests, and addressed their topic through storytelling, taking videos or photos, role-playing, or other methods.

During recess time this week, the students met with their groups and passionately discussed the best way to communicate their vision and memories of campus. Reflecting with their teammates and taking photos and videos helped them more deeply observe and appraise the campus and its role in their lives so far.

We wanted this activity to help students develop their sense of community and teamwork, improve their self-reflective capacities, and focus their attention on positive things in their environment.
