Grade 9: Assembly - How to Improve in a Certain Field

On the morning of March 22nd, the students congregated in the Lecture Hall of Zhentao Building for the routine Tuesday morning Assembly. This time, speaker Chloe Gu delivered a presentation on how to improve in a certain field. In her brief speech, she shared her story about how she refined her programming skills during the last semester, and how her scores in the USACO programming competition improved through her studies. Chloe told everyone that the two key points of mastering something laid in narrowing one’s focus and deliberately practicing related material. Through listening to this presentation, the students were able to see how others overcame challenges in studying and got to know some tips as to how to tackle problems of their own.
