High School Math Department: Pi Day Events In Progress

From March 15 to March 24, seven student lectures were held in Zhentao Building's lecture hall. Eight students from four grades introduced various kinds of software related to mathematics to their peers during their lunch breaks, such as professional statistical software SPSS, open-source software R, Python, Georgia, and Latex. Another student introduced the logic and strategies of the game 24 Points. All lectures were lively and interesting, and the audience learned a lot.

The preliminary contest of Math Knockout, organized by the STEM Doge members, ended on March 20, with a countdown of a rapid calculation. The top 50% with the highest cumulative scores of each grade successfully entered the PK competition. On March 22nd, the promotion name lists were announced on the official WeChat account of STEM Doge. The Math Knockout rekindles students' passion for math. We look forward to the 3-on-3 group PK competitions.
