Grade 10: Cherish the Beauty of Chinese Culture

On March 12th, sophomores gathered at Zhentao Building Lecture Hall to attend their morning Assembly. Nancy from class 10(2), dressed in traditional Chinese clothing, introduced her Chinese-culture club called "龙吟社". Anyone who is interested in the Chinese arts would be welcomed to join the club. The club focuses on traditional Chinese singing, dancing, and acting. After talking about the various achievements carried out by the club in the past few years, such as those in art festivals and outside competitions, Nancy gave a wonderful traditional Chinese dance performance in front of the whole grade. Everyone gave her a round of applause when she continued her speech afterwards. It had been mentioned that, in the past few years, many people participated in the club. However, this year, there has been a lack of membership due to Covid-19 situation and Nancy would like to bring back the vibes of the club by recruiting more members. Hopefully, more people would join "龙吟社" in the future and celebrate the beauty of Chinese culture.
