Grade 12: Fun Sports Meet
On a sunny afternoon of March 10th, senior students gathered in front of Xianmian Building during CAS class for a lively session oflong-rope-skipping, ice-cream-ball passing, and tying knots. Each class nominated 10 students to thelong-rope-skippingcompetition, 5 students to the ice-cream-ball passing, and 5 to the tying knots group.
The number of people in the long-rope-skipping activity was the largest, and the requirements for the tacit degree of cooperation between the team members were also the highest. The students skipped the long rope in turn and strove to add points to their own class team. The ice-cream-passing project not only tested everyone's physical coordination ability, but also their overall strategy. Figuring out how to maximize the value of each team member, each team had its own unique tricks. The knot-tying activity tested their hands-on ability. The students on the team cooperated with each other to learn the beautiful and useful knotting skills one by one.
Students’ laugher echoed as they bonded through such group activities. It proved to be a nice break from the usual busyness of the school year, as students relaxed and enjoyed themselves, simultaneously strengthening their friendships with their peers.
