Grade 9: Tips for the Academic Course Selection

On March 10th, some Grade 10 students came to the Lecture Hall of Zhentao Building to give Grade 9 students an overview and tips for the academic course selection as AP courses can be taken starting in 10th Grade. The courses discussed were AP History, AP Language, AP Economics, and AP Music.

The general topics that the speakers talked about were course introduction, course contents, test examples, self-studying tips, and their own opinions about each course. First, they listed chapters that were covered in AP courses and example questions on their tests. Then the use of Blackboard, Collage Board, and Peer Advisor Online resources was suggested.

Even though it was a short session, these talks were very informative and helpful for 9th Grade students' future planning.
