Grade 11: My Basketball Dream

On March 4th, 2021, the first Assembly of the new semester for Grade 11 teachers and students was held at the Xianmian Annex Auditorium. The students sat down one after another and began listening to the announcements and a student speech.

First, Ms. Yu announced the procedure and basic rules for the upcoming World Citizens' Day for 11th graders. All the students seemed to be looking forward to the event with unbearable excitement. Next, Marcus Gao from 11(6) came to the stage to share his experience with basketball. He learned how to play many kinds of sports as a child, and he became especially interested in basketball even though his initial purpose was to exercise. Now, he plays on the school basketball team and hopes to continue to play basketball in the future, perhaps as a professional.

The morning rally ended with a video clip of the basketball games Marcus had played in. May everyone keep pursuing their dreams and make them come ture through hardwork.
