Pudong Campus Grades 1-5: Childhood in Color—Art Exhibition by Students from SHSID Pudong Campus

During the first week of school, teachers and students of all ages from SHSID Pudong Campus came to the Gallery at Puxi campus to visit a special art exhibition with the theme “Childhood in Color”. All of the works on display are from the various students of the Pudong campus! Ms. Liu, the director of Pudong Campus, also visited the exhibition with grade 5 students; she spoke highly of their imaginative, colorful, and beautiful creations!

51 diverse student artworks were on display at the exhibition. Using bright and gorgeous colors, each work depicts the children’s colorful childhood and their true feelings. The students took their time on a gallery walk to enjoy every piece of work on display. They were deeply impressed by the imagination of these young artists as well as the artistic charm of the paintings. By scanning the QR code on the nametag next to the work, children could also hear a description of the art pieces by the little artists. Many students gained a deeper appreciation of the paintings by listening and imagining the inner world of the artists!

This unique art exhibition not only built a stage for students to present their talent, communicate with each other, and learn from each other, but also further enriches the campus cultural life of our students. It improves their artistic aesthetic tastes and brings them visual delight. We look forward to seeing more beautiful artwork in the future!
