History and Geography Department: Department Meeting

On the morning of February 19th, all the Chinese teachers of the History and Geography Department met in Room 211 in the Zhentao Building to prepare for the new semester. Ms. Li Yunuo clarified the upcoming activities and challenges during the new semester. She also stressed the importance of teachers’ professional development. In the afternoon, high school History teachers met in Room 111 to discuss the new semester plan. Mr. Aaron Ingham introduced the regular work which included the date of the midterm exam, the submission of the syllabus, and the sign up for an open class given by AP history teachers. Next, Mr. Sean Cordes shared his updated semester project plan with the rest of the teachers. He introduced the objectives and detailed instructions for the students. In the following days, teachers of each group will continue to design their plans for their students.
