Grade 10: A Little about Myself

On Wednesday, December 9th, Elaine, who is engaged in every interesting thing around her, shared how she’s being herself.

First of all, in the topic of hobbies, Elaine is all-in when it comes to basketball and plays the sport on girls’ varsity team. She has put much effort and time into this sport, feeling all the joy and memories during every match training and cooperating with her teammates.

Secondly, she said once you have investigated all those interesting areas, you will have more friends to hang out with and more topics to talk about.

At last, the main idea Elaine introduced was that one will never know when something will come in handy. “The plan can never catch up with changes” was one of Elaine’s favorite quotes. In the summer, she went to various camps and dug out her own interests in some areas where they came adept in her hand.

To conclude, Elaine said, even though resources are limited, you should still fulfill your time with hobbies instead of wasting time. Elaine chose basketball instead of swimming because it’s a team sport in which people work together as a group. Everyone is encouraged to try new things and discover her passions through time.
