Grade 11: The Charm of Horse Riding

December 8, 2020

On December 3rd, the junior Assembly was held in the annex of Xianmian Building as usual. Thomas from 11(3) shared his experience with horse riding. Thomas began his journey with horseback riding in fourth grade. After achieving remarkable results in China, he went abroad to participate in various challenging equestrian competitions. During this time, Thomas received awards that he is proud of, but he has also experienced many failures. He has learned that horse riding is not a simple, easy thing to do. You not only need to maintain a healthy relationship with the horse and take care of it, but you also need to put in a lot of time and sweat to learn the various skills required for competitions. Achieving excellence in anything is not easy. Behind this concise 5-minute speech are the sweat and persistence that Thomas has been putting in for the last seven years.

After this sharing session, the juniors now have a better understanding of the equestrian sport and the importance of persistence.
