Grade 1: “Eggcellent Parent”

On November 30th, every first grader received an egg for an egg-citing and interesting activity called "Eggcellent Parent". First, the children had to create a safe home to carry their eggs. For an entire week, the first graders had to protect their egg babies from cracking. They had to take it to and from school and take pictures and videos to document the fun and interesting things that happened. After one week with the egg baby, if the students successfully looked after their egg every day of the challenge, they would receive a certificate and a special prize to congratulate them for being good and responsible parents. This activity was also integrated with the IT curriculum. Students made an e-book using the Book Creator APP to showcase the time they had spent with their egg babies for their peers. Hopefully, the students enjoyed taking care of their eggs and have been responsible parents.
