Grade 9: Assembly - On Peer Pressure

November 30, 2020

On Tuesday, November 24th, 2020, a 9th Grade Assembly was held in which the speaker talked about peer pressure. The speaker first introduced the basics of peer pressure such as its definition, examples, etc. Then, she moved on to the causes and effects of peer pressure and related her speech to the lives of high school students. More detailed examples were then listed to enhance the key points. Finally, the speaker offered the audience some potential solutions to avoid falling into the unnecessary trap of peer pressure.

Peer pressure is indeed a large issue among high school students, especially 9th-graders who just entered high school. The speaker’s presentation provided a clear and unique point of view on the topic, and it also consisted of a detailed explanation of the causes and effects. Hopefully, by listening to the speech, the audience will be able to reject or properly face peer pressure and choose for themselves in the future.
