Puxi Campus Grades 4&5: November Assembly
On November 26thand 27th, the fourth and fifth grades of Pudong campus held their monthly assembly in the auditorium of the primary school building. In order to keep social distance, two grades held the assembly separately.
After the epidemic prevention routine, the assembly started with safety and health education. Ms. Forman reminded the students to wash their hands often and wear masks to protect themselves. Additionally, Ms. Forman reinforced the safety rules that students need to walk in the hallway during recess, treat everyone and everything with respect, and use appropriate language.
Next, each grade shared their core value of the month. The core value for the fourth grade is optimism. Teachers used pictures, stories, and personal experiences to teach students how to have a positive attitude in their daily lives. The core value of the fifth grade is acceptance. Accepting both our bright sides and disadvantages as well as those of others is a lesson that should be remembered for our entire lives.
At the end of the assembly, teachers announced the monthly stars and the best class award. The assembly ended with everyone’s applause.
