Grade 7 : "Twenty-Four Dot Competition!" in YD Class

November 26, 2020

Last Thursday SHSID held an all-or-nothing event. To those who are not familiar with twenty-four dots, you use multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division to try to turn four numbers into twenty-four. The first person that manages to do so becomes the champion. In this competition, we first randomly assigned students into groups of two before making them compete against each other. Each victor then went into the next round to face stronger opponents until only one supreme winner remained.

Finalists went to the library where the final round took place and where the last person standing was deemed the sole winner!
