Grade 12: Student's Sharing on Mental Health

On November 13th, Lionel Lu from12(1) made a presentation about mental health to his peers.

The presentation focused on mental health, specifically on how seniors should deal with the stress involved with college applications. Seniors are currently in the middle of the college application season, which may be overwhelming and take a toll on mental health. Lionel started off by acknowledging how difficult it has been recently but emphasized the importance of taking good care of one’s mental status in order to prevent depression, anxiety, and other psychological disorders. He listed out common symptoms associated with these conditions, as well as solutions in tackling day-to-day negative thinking.

Overall, it was an informative Assembly for the Grade 12 students. It served as a reminder to everyone senior student that they shall have mental health awareness and get through the college application process with a healthy mind.
