Pudong Campus Grades 4-5: Chinese Characters Competition

November 12, 2020

When talking about traditional Chinese culture and literature, certainly Chinese characters will be the first thing that springs to mind. They are the diamonds of Chinese culture. In order to help our students get a better understanding of Chinese characters, students from G4 to G5 of Pudong campus had a Chinese characters competition during the PG class of Nov. 12th. All the contestants from each class were masters of Chinese characters and found nothing challenging from filling in the blanks to understanding the meaning and background information of the characters as cultural symbols. Applause was heard from time to time from the audience. Even though the competition was only one hour long, our students definitely got a better understanding of Chinese characters and culture from it!
