Pudong Campus Grade 3: Book Tasting

In order to encourage students to be stronger readers and to celebrate the month of reading, the third-grade teachers at Pudong campus held a “Book Tasting” activity in which they invited all third-grade students to the book café on November 10th.

During the Book Tasting, students were encouraged to “try a bite” of the books to see if they liked them. This included looking at the cover of the book, reading a few pages, and flipping through to see any pictures or graphics.

After “tasting” several different genres, the Book Tasting activity concluded with “Reflection Napkins.” The third-grade students felt the joy of reading through this meaningful and fun activity.
