Primary School Subjects Department: G3 Explores the Exciting Adventure of the Life Cycle

Grade 3 students had an exciting adventure studying plants and animals in the last two weeks of October! Over the course of this unit, the students have explored topics like plant life cycles, animal life cycles, and both structural and behavioral adaptations.

The students have enjoyed creating projects and conducting experiments for these lessons. The “Life Cycle Lap-book” is an interactive note-taking strategy that reinforces what the students have learned about plant and animal life cycles.

Grade 3 students also enjoyed observing the animal life cycle in action through silkworms! The students have been working hard to make real-world connections between the information in their Fusion textbooks and the outside world—particularly with the life cycle and adaptation lessons.

Grade 3 students are ready to explore the world with their eyes and the skills they’ve learned in their classes.
